Matthew McConaughey – Entamaphobia

A fear of doors can be pretty inconvenient considering all homes, offices, and buildings around the world have an entry or exit path through a doorway. Fortunately for Matthew McConaughey, the Texas native is only scared of revolving doors.
In recent years, McConaughey has become more and more involved in his native state’s political affairs. Speaking on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”, he described politics as a broken business that needed to be redefined. In 2021, McConaughey was considered a serious candidate for the office 2022 election for the Governor of Texas and even expressed his desire to run for office.
Salma Hayek – Ophidiophobia

There is little doubt “From Dusk Till Dawn” is one of the best movies in Salma Hayek’s film resume but did you know she almost lost her role in the Robert Rodriguez-directed masterpiece due to a phobia? According to Hayek, she was required to dance with a snake wrapped around her body, a plot detail that was not part of the original script.
Digging deep, Hayek overcame Ophidiophobia and thus kept her role as a cast member of the 1996 cult classic. 2021 proved to be a blockbuster year for the Mexican actress as she took on prominent roles in “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”, “Eternals”, and “House of Gucci.”
Adele – Stagefright

Despite being a celebrity who is hounded by paparazzi and fans on a daily basis, Adele actually has a phobia of being photographed or being on stage. This might also seem pretty odd since Adele has cashed in on million-dollar paychecks thanks to her sold-out tours and on-stage performances.
Before her comeback, whereby she released her highly anticipated studio album “25”, Adele underwent photo-healing therapy to overcome her phobias. In the Summer of 2021, the “Skyfall” singer finally started construction of her dream home in the heart of Kensington after purchasing the land for it for a cool $15 million (estimated).
