Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi: Together since 2004

Everybody is familiar with “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and its host, Ellen DeGeneres, who has openly been gay for years. She started dating her girlfriend, Portia de Rossi, in 2004. De Rossi rose to fame on the 2003 series “Arrested Development” and came out to the public as a lesbian in 2005.

After the same-gender marriage was legalized in California, the duo got married in August 2008. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2009, Portia de Rossi revealed that she fell in love with DeGeneres the first time she laid eyes on her at a party in 2000. In 2021, the pair sold their Beverly Hills home.
