Jeff Bezos – $165 Million, Los Angeles

The whole world is aware of who Jeff Bezos is. How can anyone not be, when he was the wealthiest person in the world until early January 2021? Elon Musk may have replaced him at the top of the list, but the Amazon CEO still has a whopping $182 billion fortune.
Following his divorce in 2019, Bezos was on the hunt for real estate pieces. While he did add some architectural masterpieces (like the three adjacent NYC apartments worth $80 million) to his portfolio, it was the $165 million Warner Estate that took the prize. According to Business Insider, it was the most expensive house sale in Los Angeles County.
Elon Musk – $29 Million, Bel Air

Just like Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk is also among the world’s richest people moving around in the top three. The home of the SpaceX founder pictured above was not one that he recently purchased but instead sold in December of 2020. In fact, Musk sold three other houses around the same time.
Let’s just hope that his tweet about owning “no house” was a joke. According to Variety, the tech giant sold this particular 16,000+ square-foot Bel-Air mansion for $29 million with a profit of $12 million. The seven-bedroom 11-bathroom dwelling was acquired by fellow tech entrepreneur William Lei Ding.
Whoopi Goldberg – $9.595 Million, Pacific Palisades

Whoopi Goldberg, who voiced ‘Guinan’ in the 2022 episodes of “Star Trek: Picard,” is not the first celebrity to make her home in this pedigreed estate in the Pacific Palisades. The house was initially built in 1933 for the Austrian author Vicki Baum.
Later on, the 7,000-square-foot home was owned by David Niven, the Oscar-winning actor in “The Pink Panther.” However, since 1993, Goldberg spent a blissful 26 years enjoying the home’s checkered floors, stone fireplaces, and detached guesthouse before selling it in 2019. Last we heard, the house was put back on the market for $9.595 million.
