Nigel Sharrocks met Fiona Bruce when she took a job briefly at ad agency BMP, where he was the company director. The duo married in Islington in 1994, and since then has enjoyed more than 25 years of blissful marriage. Their union has been blessed with two children who are now adults. Their first son, Sam arrived in January 1998 while their daughter, Mia, came three years later in November 2001.

The couple lives together in their Belsize Park home in London, and they also own a home in Sydenham, Oxfordshire. Bruce, the Question Time anchor, recently come under fire for interrupting an audience on the show.
