Karyn Parsons rose to fame after her appearance in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” a hit teen sitcom that aired in the ’80s and ’90s. She left the series after six years of playing Hilary Banks and started working for a nonprofit organization that focuses on educating young people about the history of Black people.
Parsons also founded her own foundation called Sweet Blackberry, which funds animated films supporting Black heroes. However, some sources claimed that she had picked up acting again. And After she delivered a scene-stealing appearance in the 2020 movie “Sweet Thing,” the rumors turned out to be accurate.
