Taylor Swift and Katy Perry’s reconciliation is one for the books and while naysayers believe it was just a publicity stunt, perhaps there’s one telling sign that they have, indeed, buried the hatchet: a collaboration. Can they be brewing something up for their tireless supporters?
Amazing fans of the two were able to deduce that the equally beautiful singers have been cooking something up while others believe that Taylor and Katy are just waiting for the right moment to drop what they are jointly working on.
The theory came from the alleged subtle hints on the celebrities’ social media accounts that these fans have puzzled together. They maintained that there have been similarities in the stars’ posts, which only die-hard followers would notice.

Instagram | Katy announced her upcoming album, Daisies
The expectant mother recently took to Twitter to share a teaser for her upcoming album called Daisies and attached what was presumed to be the album cover. Then in less than two hours, the Bad Blood hitmaker shared a photo of her wearing a top with daisy prints, leaving fans convinced that it was a nod to her former enemy’s music.
Taylor’s post has a caption that has two snake emojis, which date back to her 2017 phase, while the short description biiig isolation is seen as a play on her hit song End Game. In Don’t Blame Me, the 30-year-old also used daisies to signify growth and supportive friendship.

Twitter | Taylor’s photo was enough to be evidence for her fans
Then, after the multi-Grammy award winner’s post, the official Twitter account of American Idol, in which Katy is a judge, promoted the Dark Horse hitmaker’s new album. However, it also gave out an inkling that fans can take as a confirmation.
The talent search’s account said it couldn’t wait to repeat Katy’s hit for 1,989 times, which Swifties would know is an allusion to their idol. Taylor’s fifth album is called 1989 and it was the year she was born.
Now, it couldn’t just be a coincidence, right? Fans thought that, too, because they thought the number was too specific to be just happenstance.
Then, there’s the 35-year-old’s Instagram post that shows a pair of sandals with a daisy design for her eponymous collection. Katy also used the expression sticks and stones, which probably referenced Taylor’s lyrics in You Need to Calm Down, snakes and stones.
