Being a mother is a life-changing experience. It makes you more humble, loving, and caring and pushes you to always be near your child and take care of him. The best part of this phase is that it allows you to enjoy the little moments in life. At least that’s what it has done to Mandy Moore.

The This Is Us star recently posted a few pictures of her little boy August “Gus” Harrison’s six-month birthday, and fans couldn’t stop gushing.
Here’s a quick look at how she celebrated the milestone moment.
“We are the luckiest”
On August 20, 2021, Moore posted a couple of pictures of her son Gus on Instagram. She complimented the pics with a sweet caption and wrote that the past six months were the happiest of her life. To be with her sweet boy and experience unconditional love has taught her a lot. It made her and her husband Taylor Goldsmith feel like the luckiest parents on Earth.
In one of the pics, the toddler is posing with his toys while sitting on a couch and smiling at the photographer. Of course, his smile gives away that the pic was taken by one of his parents. In other pictures, either he’s lying on his stomach and looking towards the camera or posing in his parent’s arms.

Surprisingly, this isn’t the only milestone moment for Gus. Earlier, his mum shared photos of his first flight from LA to DC, where he was such a good boy that the actress couldn’t stop praising him! She even posted pics of his playdates with the babies of her other celebrity friends and shared the moment of his first dip in the Atlantic. Last week, during a family trip to the East Coast, Moore shared a photograph of Gus dressed in a miniature bucket hat and colorful swim trunks.
“Most remarkable, Dad”
The actress is not only happy to be a mother, but is also proud to be Goldsmith’s wife. On August 16, 2021, while celebrating her husband’s birthday, she shared some pictures of him with a heartfelt message on Instagram. The Chasing Liberty star said she would never find enough words to describe her love for her husband.

Speaking about how good a father he is, she said she has always been in awe of him, but the way he has been since the birth of their son has made her fall in love with him even more. The actress thanked him for his patience, presence, and passion, and all the beautiful moments he has given her. She signed off with a “happy birthday” wish and a “love you” message.
