Paige decided to transfer to San Diego State during her sophomore year. It turned out to be a wise decision because she enjoyed even more success during her 2012-2013 season with the Aztecs. Success began when the San Diego State University Aztecs won the First-Team All-Mountain West honors.
It was followed by a fifth-place finish at the Cal Classic and a sixth at the Mountain West Championships. And later on, they placed nineteenth at the NCAA Central Regional Championships. It was an exciting season, and Paige had pushed her limits. But there would be more to celebrate in her future. That was for sure.
