This Muffler Needs a Haircut
This image circulated on the Internet in February 2022 when a woman named Deborah Weber was shocked when she found clumps of a ponytail in her auto’s exhaust pipe. There was so much in it that she filled up an entire trash bag with it. She soon after called the police to have the cause investigated.
When the police failed to uncover the cause, the woman went ahead with the investigation herself and found out that it was muffler hair. Most mufflers are made out of this fibrous material, and when it starts to deteriorate, this material comes out of the exhaust tip. And yes, it looks exactly like human locks!
