This Game Boy ad is authentic, and it was part of a long-running theme of suggestive ad campaigns in the ’90s. We can’t believe that Game Boy ads in those times were not exactly very family-friendly!
However, Nintendo has taken over a cleaner image in recent decades. This ad, in particular, says that a Game Boy is more fun than a ferret in one’s trousers. We don’t know that for sure, but if one of our parents saw this ad, they would never lend us the funds to get this gaming device.
