Tony Burton, Died At Age 78, 1937-2016
When you think of a boxer, a happy face with a big smile isn’t what would usually come to mind. That is, however, excluding Tony Burton. There’s hardly a picture of him without a grin—not even his last photo. Known for his portrayal of Tony “Duke” Evans in the “Rocky” films, Burton lived a long and prosperous life.
Looking back, you can see that in his marriage to Aurelain Burton, which lasted until his death in 2016. They raised four children together although, one of them passed away two years before Burton did. The cause of his death was confirmed as complications from pneumonia.
