Freddie Mercury, Died At Age 45, 1946-1991

Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the British rock band “Queen,” was noted for his energetic concerts performances and incredible vocal range. He was born in Zanzibar (now Tanzania), raised in India, and eventually became a British national, and therefore, it’s safe to say he’s moved around quite a bit during his life.
Mercury was the brains behind some of Queen’s biggest hits. “Killer Queen,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and “We Are The Champions” are among fans’ favorites. Mercury was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and was open to fans, disclosing it in November 1991. He died at his Kensington home only a day after announcing his prognosis to the public.
