Chadwick Boseman, Died At Age 43, 1976–2020
Chadwick Boseman may have launched his acting career in the early ’00s, but it wasn’t until he played King T’Challa, a.k.a the title character on “Black Panther,” did he make it under the international spotlight. Even though no one knew, he had been fighting a secret battle since before the said movie came out in 2018.
Boseman has had colon cancer since 2016, and unfortunately, the public only found out after he died on August 28, 2020. He was last seen in a video in April 2020, launching “Operation 42,” in which fans noticed a dramatic change in his appearance. Boseman’s work on “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” was released posthumously.
