“Glee” was one of the most popular television series of this era, and one of the main stars in its cast was Naya Rivera, the actress who gave life to Santana Lopez’s character. She had been working in front of the cameras since she was a child, starting on commercials.

Rivera was married to actor Ryan Dorsey between 2014 and 2018, during which time they had a son. She was out at Lake Piru on July 8, 2020, when she drowned after somehow managing to help her son into the boat they rented. It’s devastating to think that the photo above with her son is the last she posted on “Twitter.”
