Phil Hartman, Died At Age 49, 1948-1998

Phil Hartman became known as a member of the sketch comedy troupe “The Groundlings.” He had a significant influence on the character of Pee-wee Herman and even co-wrote the movie “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” in 1985. He then became a regular cast member of “Saturday Night Live” and voiced multiple characters on “The Simpsons.”
In his personal life, Hartman was a father of two, birthed by his wife, Brynn Omdahl. Well, it was at his hands that he died. After an intense argument, Omdahl allegedly shot Hartman and committed suicide later that same day. Their two children were orphaned in a day and were raised by family.
