Anton Lesser As Harold Macmillan – 69 Years Old
An Architect who later went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Anton Lesser was awarded the Bancroft Gold Medal as the most promising actor of his year after graduation. Apart from being an associate artist with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Lesser is a regular contributor on radio and he played the title role in the BBC Radio adaptations of the first five of “Lindsey Davis’ Falco mysteries.”
He has also recorded several audiobooks, including some of Charles Dickens’ works such as “Great Expectations” which won him a Talkie Award. Lesser acted as Harold Macmillan in “The Crown”.
