In December 2020, former “EastEnders” star June Brown announced that she would be starring in a Christmas story podcast. The British actress played a mother whose son was suffering from Down’s syndrome in “Missing You,” as the two get separated during the 2020 pandemic.
This was Brown’s first acting role after her retirement from “EastEnders,” having starred in some 2,333 episodes of the hit sitcom. Even at the age of 94, the British stage legend looks very lively indeed and has attributed her long life and youthful looks to eating dark chocolate and drinking red wine.
