50 Design Items That Could Save Your Life Or Simply Make Your Day A Bit Better

A Little Bit of Belgian History

If there was one country that doesn’t get enough credit for its artistry, it’s Belgium. But this gives a perfect perspective on what the country had to offer, particularly in the 19th century. It is known as Sterner’s Studio and was built in 1880.

The Sterner in question, Clas GrĂ¼ner Sterner, who hailed from Vienna, was a master-stained Glassman. He was responsible for the stained glass windows on the building, although Ernest Delune did the building design. The house was deemed historical in 2003 and was fully restored in 2020 after the front facade was considered to be dangerously degraded.
