Small Changes Can Make A Big Difference
It’s incredible how small changes can make a massive difference to people’s appearance and the perceptions others have of them. Like Clarke Kent removing his specs to become Superman, people can simply go for a haircut or add an accessory to the whole perception about them.
Take this ad campaign for Hut Weber, a hat-making German company, for example. The agency called Serviceplan saw an opportunity to place two similar silhouettes on paper. One looks like Adoph Hitler, and the other with a hat on resembles the loved and revered Charlie Chaplin. It’s all in the hat, and that’s what the advertiser wants to bring across.
