Borat’s Little Stab At Trump
Donald Trump had his supporters, but Hollywood’s elite mostly disliked him. A lot of personalities were out trying to take a stab at him, and one of them was Sacha Baron Cohen, who had a subtle dig at Trump with the poster for the film “Borat 2.”
The movie was released in 2020, with Trump still vying for a second term. Assuming Trump wouldn’t win again, the movie’s poster portrays a reveal, with Cohen as Borat, removing a Trump mask as if it was him all along. The play on Time magazine’s title adds to the revelation as they shuffled the letters to read as “It Me.”
