About two years after Jeremy Clarkson left Top Gear in 2015, Chris Harris became one of the show’s main presenters. Like most people who have ever presented on the show, Harris is an automobile fanatic. As a matter of fact, he had a decent career as a racing driver. Before joining Top Gear, Harris had worked as a writer and editor for several automobile magazines like Evo and Autocar.
He’s recently moved into production, as he’s been credited as an executive producer of an Untitled Frasier Revival scheduled for release in 2022. Harris reportedly earns £716K a pop on Top Gear. This doesn’t include his other commitments.
