J. K. Rowling is currently one of the richest authors in the world, and she’s held that position for several years. For anyone familiar with this woman’s legacy, that would hardly come as a surprise. She’s the revered author of the Harry Potter series, which has sold over 500 million copies. This makes it the best-selling book series of all time.
Rowling has also written several other fantasies and crime fiction books. One of such books, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is being made into three upcoming movie adaptations. Forbes reported her latest known annual earnings in 2019, said to be $92 million (£65.9 million).
