Ron Howard started as a child star. Most notably for an episodic role in The Twilight Zone and his role in The Andy Griffith show as the main character’s son. He continued his acting role into the ’70s playing Richie Cunningham, one of the main characters.

But it was as a director that he truly made his film mark. He won two Oscars for directing Cocoon and two for directing Apollo 13. He also won four Oscars for A Beautiful Mind, continuing his success with Da Vinci Code and its sequels. He is currently filming a series called Willow, due out in 2022.
