Another actress who had a prolific streak during the ’80s is Meryl Streep. Already an acclaimed performer, she added movies like “Sophie’s Choice” and “Out Of Africa” to her then-fast growing resume. She even ended the decade with two Oscar wins and five nominations under her belt!
Despite what she’s already achieved, Streep didn’t slow down at all. She’s still on the top of her game today. In 2020, the Cecil B. DeMille Award winner showed off her vocal chops in the movie musical “The Prom” and made audiences laugh in the dramedy “Let Them Talk.”
