The reaction was something you’d expect in any restaurant. Many customers were upset that their meals had been mistreated and handled in such a haphazard manner. Statistically, it’s estimated that 95 percent of the people who received a smashed burger had some choice words for the management.
This is in stark contrast to the 12 percent of people who stood up to the bullies and defended helpless Robert. It’s a heartbreaking reality, but this is what we get when people exercise complacency and choose to overlook a glaring incident such as Robert’s. Unfortunately, that also means that more people cared about their food than the plight of a young man.
