The boys who took part in the experiment had some knowledge to impart as well. They wanted to let adults know that whenever bullying occurs in their presence, it’s not always easy to stand up to their classmates and friends to stop.
In most cases, it’s better to keep your head down and enjoy the peace that comes with not being the victim. Unfortunately, this fear makes it hard for the kids to do the right thing leading to long-term effects. On the other hand, by standing up to the bullies, they risk the chance of the bully’s attention being turned to them.
