Barbara Knox – Age 87
TV legendary Barbara Knox only has a relatively short list of acting credits to her name but that’s because she remains one of the longest-serving cast members of the long-running ITV soap opera “Coronation Street.” In the show, she plays Rita Sullivan, a major character with an interesting story to tell.
Despite appearing on the show since the ’70s, the actress, who received MBE honors, has no plans of saying goodbye to avid Corrie fans as of 2021. Outside the soap, Knox was also seen in the ’70s show “Funny You Should Say That” and guest-starred in a few programs.
