When Gail Platt returned to Weatherfield in September 2021, fans were delighted to see her after she went to Thailand to take a breather from her stressful life. In reality, die-hard supporters of “Coronation Street” were thrilled that actress Helen Worth rejoined the cast of the soap opera.
With a career spanning over six decades, over 40 years were dedicated to the ITV show, it’s not surprising that people sorely missed her. However, this wasn’t the only acting credit she is known for; she played Pauline Jackson in “Time of Your Life,” Mary Ashe in “Doctor Who,” and Elsie Gibbs in “The Doctors.”
