Dick Van Dyke is an American actor and comedian whose career began after his role on The Dick Van Dyke Show. Some of his most endearing film roles were in ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang’, ‘Dick Tracy’ and ‘Night at the Museum’. He also starred in the drama series “Diagnosis Murder” (1993-2001) and has won several Emmy Awards. “I have the best so-called retirement of anyone I know because I do what I love to do,” Van Dyke told BroadwayWorld.com in late 2010. In 2013, Van Dyke received the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.
