Amanda Lear, geboren 1939 – Sweet Revenge
Amanda Lear is a French singer, songwriter, painter, television presenter, actress and former model. She began her professional career in the mid-1960s as a photo model and modeled for Paco Rabanne and Ossie Clark, among others. Lear’s first four albums brought her mainstream popularity, reaching the top 10 of the European charts, including the bestseller Sweet Revenge. By the mid-1980s, Lear had become a leading media personality in Italy, where she hosted many popular television shows. In 2021, she appears in the French TV drama Camping Paradis. To date, Lear has reportedly sold over 27 million records worldwide.
