Sofia Coppola started acting as an infant and starred in films like “Peggy Sue got Married.” It wasn’t until her role in “The Godfather III” that Coppola realized she was not meant for acting. Her acting received a lot of criticism and the infamously bad actress won Razzies for worst supporting actress and worst new star.
While she may not have seen success as an actress, Coppola did find success as a screenwriter and won an Oscar for “Lost in Translation” in the category of Best Original Screenplay. In 2020 she directed the film, “On the Rocks.”
