Elizabeth Hurley is best known for the popular show “Saved by the Bell” and the massive flop, “Showgirls.” The film got the most Razzies the next year and Elizabeth Hurley won Worst Actress and Worst New Star. In an attempt to rid herself of her PG image, Hurley bared it all and the film became a hit amongst trash film lovers.
It was the US’s first and only big-budget NC-17 and it ended her film career before it even began and she described it as “humiliating.” However, she made a few appearances over the years, and in 2020, she starred in the “Saved by the Bell” reboot.
