Christopher Atkins is best known for starring opposite Brooke Shields in the ’80s film “Blue Lagoon.” He’s starred in other films including, “A Night in Heaven” and “Exchange Lifeguards.” He mainly acted in teen dramas and wasn’t taken very seriously as an actor.
He was nominated for a Golden Globe for “Blue Lagoon” and won a Razzie for the film “A Night in Heaven. He was nominated for Worst New Star, Worst Actor of the Decade, and Worst Supporting Actor over the years. His career didn’t have many highs, and the teen idol lost his fame soon but didn’t quit acting. In 2021, he can be seen in “Out of Vengeance.”
