Nicolas Cage – $150k Pet Octopus
If you’re familiar with Nicolas Cage, you’re probably aware of the “Ghost Rider” actor’s questionable spending habits. Between 1996 and 2011, he reportedly made more than $150 million but thanks to his wild spending, not only was Cage’s bank balance down to zero, he actually owed the IRS $13 million.
In addition to his multi-million dollar mansions, yachts, island, and castle, the “Gone in 60 Seconds” actor also bought a pet octopus, spending a whopping $150k on it. Since his comeback, starring in 2021’s Pig, Cage has been on a mission to redeem himself and in a 2021 Entertainment Weekly interview, he vowed to never retire from acting.
