When former pro football player David Beckham gifted his wife Victoria Beckham a gold-plated iPhone in 2011, it made headlines. Designed by Stuart Hughes and costing an estimated $33k, the lavish present was given to commemorate the birth of their fourth child and baby daughter, Harper Seven.
