Johnny Depp – Superyacht “ Vajoliroja“
If the name “Vajoliroja” seems unconventional, there’s a pretty good reason for it. When actor Johnny Depp was thinking of a name for his 156-foot yacht, he combined the first letters of the names of his daughter Lily Rose, son Jack, himself, and his then-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor sold the boat in 2015 to J.K. Rowling. The “Harry Potter” author, after vacationing on the yacht, was apparently so taken by it that she ended up buying it from Depp for $20 million. In 2021, Depp took his former wife Amber Heard to court after filing a $50 million defamation lawsuit against her.
