Taylor Swift is undeniably crazy for cats and spends her time at home with her fur babies, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, whenever she’s not selling out stadiums for her performances. Swift received Meredith, a Scottish Fold cat, on Halloween in 2011, and Olivia, another Scottish fold cat, in June 2014.
Swift named both kitties after characters from her favorite TV shows. Meredith and Olivia are named after Dr. Meredith Grey and Detective Olivia Benson, respectively. As for Swift’s adorable cat, Benjamin Button, he made his on-screen debut in the music video for her song “Me!” with Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco.
