Williams and her husband, Ricky Van Veen, are the delighted parents of Moxie, a Golden Retriever mix. The rescue dog from the North Shore Animal League was adopted by the Williams-Veen family when she was estimated to be 10 weeks old. In addition to being a mother to Moxie, Williams starred as Marnie in HBO’s “Girls” and served as the creative director of the Keds Collective.
Williams recently spoke to InStyle about her new job at New York Fashion Week, where she commemorated the renowned shoe brand’s 100-year legacy. The “Get Out” star shared that she adored anything that encourages females to take control of their own identities.
