Kristen Bell isn’t happy to stand on the sidelines when it comes to rescuing dogs. The actress/activist advocates for dog adoption and foster care. Frank, a rescue from The Dog Cafe in Los Angeles, and Whiskey, a new addition to the family who lost one of his legs after being hit by a truck in March 2021, are her pets.
Whiskey arrived five months after Bell and Shepard’s family dog, Barbara, passed away. Barbara fell ill with an intestinal illness in October 2020, and The Good Place actor said that she and her family said their last goodbyes to their beloved canine.
