Michael Jordan – Aquaphobia
Michael Jordan developed a fear of water after a couple of water-related traumatic incidents during his childhood. Shortly afterward, the NBA legend nearly had an accident himself while attending a baseball camp and has since suffered from a condition known as Aquaphobia.
Although the NBA Hall of Famer has somewhat overcome his fear in recent years, he did admit in an interview that he gets extremely nervous when traveling by boats or when he is surrounded by large bodies of water. In 2021, after years of speculation, Jordan announced his partnership with Denny Hamlin to become co-owners of their Nascar cup series racing team 23XI.
