He might be one of the biggest film stars in the world, but even Matt Damon isn’t immune to phobias. The “Jason Bourne” actor has confessed he has a phobia of snakes. Ophidiophobia is actually one of the most common phobias since almost one in every three adults is believed to be scared of snakes.
Contrary to popular belief, most species of snakes are actually harmless. Out of the nearly 3,000 species of snakes, a mere 600 are venomous, two-thirds of which, don’t even possess enough venom to cause serious or deadly injuries. In September 2021, Damon sold his Pacific Palisades property in Los Angeles for $17.9 million.
