Apart from Botanophobia, Christina Ricci also suffers from a fear of swimming pools, known as selachophobia. The “Sleepy Hollow” actress confessed she has a phobia of plants and cannot even stand being near one. Curiously enough, the phobia stems from her belief that gardening and soil around the plants would make her feel “dirty.”
Six months after filing for divorce from James Heerdegen, Ricci obtained a restraining order against her estranged ex-husband to protect her family and its upcoming newest member. That’s right, in August 2021, she announced that she was expecting her second child, even posting a photo of her Sonogram when sharing the exciting news on social media.
