Even if you don’t know her face, you have probably heard her voice. The English broadcaster Penny Smith worked extensively in TV, but she’s more of a radio host these days. As of 2022, she keeps busy presenting the weekday drivetime show on Scala Radio. Before, she worked in BBC Radio London and talkRADIO.
After being married to the journalist Tony Birtley between 1984 and 1987, Smith dated the British hypnotist Paul McKenna and the Scottish comedian Rory Bremner. In 2001, she started a relationship with her current romantic partner, the “Trial & Retribution” actor Vince Leigh.
