Ed O’Neill – Football
Ed O’Neill is most known for his performances on “Modern Family” and “Married… with Children,” but he was a football standout in Ohio before that. He was a defensive lineman at Youngstown State University, and he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1969, but he was cut during training camp.
O’Neill began his career as a teacher before pursuing acting, and in the famous sports film “Little Giants,” he finally got to combine football with acting. Sun Dogs,” “The Bone Collector,” and the 2020 comedic drama “The Last Shift” are some of his other prominent roles.
