Tom Selleck – Basketball

Tom Selleck created a reputation for himself in the entertainment business as “Magnum P.I.” in the ’80s. Selleck was a terrific basketball player who may have made it as a pro-athlete before his big break on television.

Selleck was a basketball scholarship recipient at the University of Southern California, where he played for the legendary USC Trojans while studying Business Administration. He played until 1967 when he dropped out of college to pursue an acting career. “Three Men and a Baby,” “Friends,” “Las Vegas,” and “Blue Bloods,” the 12th season of which debuted in October 2021, are just a few of his most well-known roles.
