Uzo Aduba – Track
Uzo Aduba, star of “Orange Is the New Black,” excelled as an opera singer and a track star at Boston College. She’s found methods to continue to pursue both of these interests since then. She still sings (and has even performed alongside Taylor Swift) and ran the Boston Marathon in under five hours in 2015. She once stated that the dedication and determination required to succeed as a college athlete have certainly helped her endure in her acting career.
Aduba earned a Primetime Emmy Award and a Critics’ Choice Television Award for her performance as Shirley Chisholm in the Hulu miniseries “Mrs. America” in 2020.
