Burt Reynolds – Football

During his film career, Burt Reynolds rose to become one of the world’s most famous actors, but things could have turned out very differently if he had pursued his first love: football. In high school, the “Smokey and the Bandits” star was named First Team All-State and went on to play running back for Florida State.

After becoming a movie star, he had the opportunity to combine his two passions by starring in the original “The Longest Yard.” He made a name for himself in the film industry and was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He passed away in September 2018.
