WAYLON – 42 YEARS OLD
In the last century, singer/songwriter Waylon was born under the name Willem Bijkerk. He sang Telekids in the mid-nineties, but later developed a passion for country music. The man became a big fan of Waylon Jennings and was also allowed to work with him. He therefore chose to pay tribute to his idol and appear on stage as an artist as Waylon. In 2008 he made his breakthrough with the album Wicked Ways after he reached the final with his participation in Holland’s Got Talent. He was allowed to defend his own country twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. After his last single, we will have to wait a while for his next album.
