In 2019, the RTL DSDS winning couple from 2011 decided to separate, allegedly because of Sarah’s affair. Pietro announced in an interview: “Sarah and I, we got divorced. We’ve been wanting to do it for a while, but we couldn’t find a time slot and we weren’t in a hurry either.”
But the separation took place a few years earlier, in 2016. It was clear to both of them that no matter what happened between them, their son Alessio would remain their priority. In the meantime, both new partners have found each other and create a balanced co-parenting together.
