Chungha (I.O.I)
Born Kim Chan-mi in South Korea, Chungha had a Texas twist in her upbringing. In the Lone Star State, she lent her voice to a church choir and developed a fondness for English pop music. At 14, she returned to Seoul for her education. Her rise to fame kicked off when she clinched fourth place in “Produce 101,” securing her spot in the beloved I.O.I girl group in 2016.
After the group disbanded in 2017, Chungha embarked on a solo career, dropping hits like “Roller Coaster,” “Gotta Go,” and “Snapping,” solidifying her status as a dancing queen. Her passion for dance blossomed at Seoul’s NY Dance Studio.
